The TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 is a high-mid priced GPS receiver package made for car navigation (though it can also be used as a handheld GPS). TomTom promotes the ease-of-use of this package. The package includes a 1GB mini SD card with TomTom's NAVIGATOR 6 software on it.

This software contains detailed map data of all of the United States and much of Canada. This package also includes an installation poster, with detailed instructions on how to install the NAVIGATOR 6 software on your smartphone or PDA. Of course, the meat of the package is the wireless GPS receiver, equipped with Bluetooth technology. This receiver's combination of spoken and visual direction is standard on their GPS receivers. The NAVIGATOR 6 package includes a home charger, as well as a 12-24v car cigarette lighter charger, so that you can always make sure your GPS is ready to go. If you are using the TomTom NAVIGATOR 6 GPS receiver as a handheld, there is a pedestrian centric map to aid you.
