The NV-U44 features a 3.5" 320 x 240 pixel LCD screen and includes a USB 2.0 (mini USB) and a memory stick DUO slot. The added duo slot also enables photo browsing of pictures while on the go. The device can remain on with the supplied car battery adapter for a total of 4 hours, or 3 hours in standby mode.  The video mode features both 2D and 3D maps depending on preference. The NV-U44 screen is a Si-TFT Active Matrix Touch screen. The device weighs an approximate total of 157 grams, and has dimensions of 3.7 x 2.1 x 4.3 inches.
