As part of Mio’s Moov M series, the M400 boasts Text-to-Speech functionality, which provides the user with spoken street names — ultimately allowing the user to spend less monitoring the unit and more time instead on the road. Included also is Lane Guidance, a technology that utilizes voice prompts and visual indicators to direct the user into the proper lane prior to an exit or turn. Although inexpensive and decently sized, the M400 is reported by critics as featuring a frustrating user interface, a sluggish response, and an inflexible POI database.
