Garmin Zumo 550

 The Zumo 550 is Garmin's top-of-the-line motorcycle GPS unit. It is designed to withstand the elements and to be viewed outside in the sunlight, as it uses a UV-resistant display. It includes preloaded street maps and an extensive database of points-of-interest, as well as a microSD card reader to expand maps if necessary.

The Zumo 550 exclusively features an XM satellite radio antenna for use with an optional XM subscription, or optional traffic alerts and updates. It also includes Bluetooth connectivity with a cellular phone or helmet headset to allow hands-free calling. Also, the touch-screen navigation is more motorcycle-friendly by using left-handed and glove-sensitive navigation controls. It can be mounted on a motorcycle or transfered to an automobile. Connecting the device to a computer allows for transfer of pre-planned routes.
