The built-in Worldwide City Point database allows you to quickly find points of interest in any given city. With the 8MB of internal memory, you can load points of interest from compatible MapSource products. The Rino 120 receiver has a Position Reporting feature, which allows you to send your exact location to other Rino users in your group. When used, this feature will send your groupmates a map page with your precise location. This is especially helpful in a hitchhiking situation. As this receiver is a standard FRS/GMRS radio, it can be used to communicate with other FRS/GMRS radios that happen to be around. The Garman Rino 120 is a step up from the lower cost Rino 110 in that it has a basemap, vibrate mode, and 8MB of built-in memory (as opposed to 1MB). However, the Rino 120 lacks the higher cost Rino 130's 24MB built-in memory, barometric altimeter, electronic compass, and NOAA weather radio.
