The Garmin Nuvi 5000 is a large(5.2-inch), touchscreen GPS navigator which includes a composite video input for connecting a rear-view camera for backing up safely. It comes preloaded with City Navigator NT street maps and millions of points of interest (POIs) such as restaurants, fuel stations, hotels, and ATMs.

10 routes can be saved and multiple destinations can be automatically sorted for maximum route efficiency, as well as keeping 10,000 'breadcrumb' points so you can see where you've been. Other features include an MP3 and audio book player, all of which can be heard on your vehicle's stereo via wireless FM transmitter. Optional plug-in SD cards let you add travel guides and the SaversGuide which provides information on nearby merchants offering discounts.
