Map information is available in US-only and full North American versions, with a $10 difference between the two. Driving from point A to point B, users can opt to view any number of 6 million POIs (points of interest) based on gas, food and entertainment categories. Turn-by-turn directions with spoken street names ensure that travelling parties are kept consistently on track, with the Lane Assist and Junction View features helping to minimize confusion when entering or exiting a busy metropolitan area. These services provide the driver with a simulated 3D view of their surroundings complete with exit signs and off-ramps, using a series of arrows to illustrate exactly which lanes need to be used. Distance from the destination can be displayed in time or proximity-based formats and is conveniently placed at the bottom corner of the display, with a similar readout on the opposing side display the vehicle's speed. The Navi 30 includes a suction cup mount for quick installation and removal, as well as a power cord that connects to a cigarette lighter jack for constant device support.
