Garmin's nuvi 1690 is a mid-range GPS receiver for use in a vehicle, and it builds on previous nuvi models mainly through the inclusion of Garmin's nuLink! service, a live-updating service that provides local information and allows Google Local searches, as well as providing helpful information like the nearest fuel prices.

This nuvi also has a lane assistant, which is designed to help navigate unfamiliar intersections before arriving at them, by displaying street signs or instructing which lane to stay in. #garmin_nuvi_1690 Informative post. The Germin Nuvi 1690 has amazing features like free and ad-supported access to Garmin's NuLink data service, that is provides fuel prices, Google search for the points of interest, a host of other features, and traffic data, with Bluetooth hands-free calling helps to maintain the drivers hands on wheel though navigating.
