The Garmin GPSMAP 76Cx is a mariner-friendly handheld GPS designed for the serious outdoor enthusiast and falls near the top of the GPS 76 series offered by Garmin. Notable features that do not appear on lower models include a high-sensitivity GPS receiver, microSD card slot, color TFT screen and turn-by-turn routing.

The high-sensitivity GPS receiver quickely aquires signals and tracks your location even under heavy tree cover or in deep canyons. The IPX7 case is waterproof, and even floats if dropped in water. The 76Cx ships with a blank 128 MB microSD card so you can store extra maps or other data and has a serial and USB connection for easy connectivity. The 76Cx provides turn-by-turn directions to your destination while navigating on the road, and it accepts preloaded microSD cards with MapSource data for off-road and marine excursions.
