Garmin GPSMAP 60

$250.00 Released September, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Dramatically lower price than the Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx, but with essentially the same functions. Basemap holds a great deal of detail, can generally find your way around without any extra downloads. Keeps a full satellite lock even when biking through the trees, rarely looses connection.

The Cons:Greyscale display isn't as attractive as the color models. Extra mapping software for detailed maps can get expensive.

The Garmin GPSMAP 60 is a handheld GPS device designed for the outdoor enthusiast and falls in the lower half of the GPS 60 series offered by Garmin.  This model has many features seen in the upper models, however it features a more affordable hi-res monochrome display rather than a color display.
