A digital compass is included for true all-in-one navigation, with 50 user-created waypoints available for quick reference to a checkpoint or landmark. Hikers can also store up to 10 full track files, which can then be exported to a computer via USB for quick uploading through Garmin Connect or to social networking websites like Facebook and Twitter. Up to 17 hours of battery life are available on a single usage, with the removable AAA battery pack allowing for quick and easy power switching.
