The basic bundle includes a wireless heart rate monitor, but the Forerunner 50 is also compatible with a calorie-counting foot pod or a speed/cadence sensor for use with a bicycle. The Forerunner is capable of tracking time, pace, distance, and lap versions of the three as well. It also includes wireless data transfer of workout information to a computer, for analysis on Garmin's online community, Garmin Connect. The Forerunner 50 does not have any GPS capabilities.
