Product Shot 1 The Garmin Edge 705 is Garmin's high-end GPS cycling computer. The 705 is effectively an upgraded version of the Edge 605.  It includes all of the 605's data storage features, like lap info, times, and distance, but also includes a heart rate monitor and wireless data sharing with other Edge 705 users.

Other updates include compatibility with a (not included) power meter to display the rider's output in watts, and a barometric altimeter to display elevation. Stored data can transferred via USB to a computer to be used in Garmin Connect, Garmin's online analysis community, or Garmin Training Center software. The unit includes pre-loaded basemaps and a microSD slot to expand detailed road maps or topographical maps for off-road riding.
