Freewheel:
#garmin_edge_305 This is one poorly engineered product I am on my fourth on in 15 months (thanks for extended warranty). The unit just shuts off during rides. A complaint to Garmin customer service garnered the reply:
"As well, if this unit is seeing a lot of vibration due to the conditions of the road you are riding on then the unit is losing connection with the internal battery and would have to be repaired. To keep from having this issue you'd have to ride on a smooth road or trail."
So it seems that a GPS designed to be mounted on the handlebars of a bike can't take vibration??
Give me a break. The only thing more disappointing than the EDGE 305 is the customer service of Garmin.
Never again Garmin.
